Hey Lightning fans, the Bolts are inviting you to a special Lightning Watch Party, presented by Bud Light, beginning at 5 p.m. tonight at Channelside Bay Plaza.
The Lightning take on the Red Wings in Detroit for an important game 3 of the NHL Eastern Conference playoffs. The series is currently tied at 1-1; whichever team wins this game shifts the momentum of the series in its favor. The Lightning won game 2, but struggled on the road during the regular season. Can they keep their stellar play going and win on Detroit's home ice, even without top defense man Jason Garrison? You'll have to go to the watch party to find out.
During the game, enjoy drink and food specials from Hablo Taco, Splitsville, and Boat House Bar and watch the Lightning strike on a humongous 9-by-16-foot LED TV screen. Fans will also have the opportunity to win prizes and meet with Thunderbug, the Lightning Girls, and more. Can't come tonight? Don't worry, there will be another watch party on Thursday for game 4 of the best-of-seven series.
