Make merry, holiday shop at Art on the West End

Take part in a festive throwback that offers more than 20 artists and artisans conjuring the Ybor Square Arts and Crafts Festival of yore.

Taking place for the first time in 17 years, in the very same spot it was held pre-NWB, Art on the West End launches a new-old tradition at New World Brewery from till 6 p.m. today. Enjoy DJ-spun tunes, performance/visual art while browsing clothing items by Baby Bird and Ramblin’ Rose, leather goods, plants, aprons, jewelry, furniture and more — lining the sidewalk and throughout the property. It's a great way to enjoy the splendid weather in Tampa Bay today.

Rumor has it that a young-old St. Nick will make an appearance — “comedy legend Steve Miller, filled to the gills with Bud Light Lime,” according to artist and Fuma Bella bartender Charlie Doan (whose “West End Ybor” is pictured above).

New World Brewery is at 1313 E. Eighth Ave., Ybor City. facebook.com/newworldbrewery. Click here for the Facebook event page.
