C/O THE STRAZ

Get in loser, we’re going off Broadway. The “Mean Girls” Broadway show is coming to downtown Tampa's Straz Center. The production’s award-winning creative team includes: Tina Fey, who wrote the original 2004 movie’s screenplay; composer Jeff Richmond, who worked on “30 Rock”; Nell Benjamin, who wrote the lyrics for the “Legally Blonde” stage production; and Tony-winning director Casey Nicholaw, who worked on “The Book of Mormon.” The show lasts about two-and-a-half hours and is recommended for anyone ages 10 and older. And you better wear pink to the Wednesday show (then go to Taco Bell with Karen afterward.)

Opens Tues. Feb. 18.-Closes Feb. 23. $51 & up. Carol Morsani Hall at David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. Macinnes Pl., Tampa. strazcenter.org
