The Morean Arts Center announced a name change and expanded glass opportunities this morning.
In addition to a name change — henceforth, the Morean Glass Studio & Hot Shop going by "Morean Glass Studio" only — the Morean Glass Studio will, like its sister, the Morean Center for Clay, have artists in residence. And, thanks to money from the state, it will upgrade some of its equipment.
The Morean plans to accept two AIRs each year.
