Need help with your spring cleaning? Friends of Gulfport Library can help

This season, while cleaning out the garage, the attic, or your bookshelves, set aside your gently used books, movies and music and donate them to Friends of the Gulfport Library.

Donations must be in good condition. Because books, movies and music will be purchased by others to read in their homes, the organization accepts only new or gently used and clean items or rare and best loved treasures.

Items needed include; electronic books, hardback and paperback books, comic books, children’s books, music, CDs, albums, movies, DVDs and more.

Donations will be used for Friends of The Gulfport Library’s annual Book Sale on April 2. The proceeds from your donations will help support programs for children and youth, speakers, special collections and Library furnishings.

Donations can be dropped of at Gulfport Public Library, 5501 28th Ave. S., Gulfport, Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., or to schedule a pick up, call 727-322-5217.
