C/O SKATEPARK OF TAMPA

Seems like it was a long time coming—especially since women have skated for free at the Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT) for what feels like forever—but for the first time ever, Tampa Pro includes a women’s open tourney with a $5,000 purse on the line. Ladies qualifiers go down on Friday, Feb. 28 during what’s long been one of the country’s most unique skateboarding tournaments, and the finals happen on Sunday, March 1 just four hours before the dudes compete for a much larger prize (the first place man alone gets $10,000.)
