Tampa hip-hop scene staple Club Atlanta hosts reunion party on Saturday

Notorious B.I.G

Club Atlanta’s location on Kennedy Boulevard was legendary. According to Tampa hip-hop patriarch DJ Sandman, it’s where the Notorious B.I.G. once played (Deion Sanders was rumored to have shown up that night). Its Franklin Street location is where the Hall on Franklin is now, and if you ever partied there, well, you know. A reunion featuring old school Club Atlanta DJs happens on Friday at the Centro Asturiano, and online sales have already ended, so you’ll have to pay cover at the door like you used to.
