Tim Allen got began doing stand-up more than 40 years ago, but that might not be how you know him.
You probably know him from his wildly-popular Home Improvement sitcom in the 90s, or maybe his Last Man Standing sitcom that ended earlier this year. In any case, you know who Buzz Lightyear is, right? Allen voiced Buzz, and if you don't know the Toy Story franchise, how can you be a functioning, productive human being?
Anyway, Allen's known for comedy via television and movies, but he's also had a very successful stand-up career, too. Now that his most recent sitcom has wrapped, Allen's back on stage telling jokes and family stories that are pretty consistent with the content he's created over the decades, but definitely saltier than television censors would ever allow.
His current tour will take him to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Nov. 16, but tickets go on sale this Saturday at noon. You could wait to hear him in Toy Story 4 (editor's note: we totally thought this was a joke, but apparently this is the franchise that won't die) when it comes out in a couple years, or you could grab the best seats for his upcoming Clearwater date. We suggest the latter option.
