On the Radar: Caliente's inaugural Bare Dare 5K

As a media consultant for Paradise Lakes from 2004 to 2007, Williams staged a number of buzz-generating promos, including the "Bulls in the Buff" strip poker tournament for USF students.

Williams’ plan is to unleash similar promotions for the Bare Dare 5K, while also leveraging all of his contacts in the endurance sports world. Enterprise Media, LLC, owns a number of URLs -- nude5k.com, nuderaces.com among them -- that will be developed for the event. One campaign will center on daring your friends to do the race with you -- Will you take the Bare Dare?

Caliente Club & Resorts is located at 21240 Gran Via Blvd, Land O Lakes, FL.

Anyone who wants to know what it feels like to run naked can try it out at the Bare Dare 5K. Caliente teamed up with Pete Williams of “The Fitness Buff” radio show to host the inaugural event on Sun., October 10, 2010.

Williams said, “I'm excited about this run because even though Lake Como has had a run since 1993 and Paradise Lakes had one through 2006, Caliente is a much more upscale facility with a more upscale, international clientele.”

Williams' company, Enterprise Media, LLC, is the official sponsor, and is promoting it through the BlogTalkRadio program "The Fitness Buff," which has been on air for five years, previously at WTAN. The Fitness Buff Show has been broadcast at Caliente since early 2008.
