On March 12, Tampa Theatre said that the sold-out 35-year anniversary screening of "Pee-wee’s Big Adventure" with Paul Reubens is postponed due to concerns around novel coronavirus. There's no make up date yet, but you might want to hold on to your ticket.

The 35th anniversary of the cult favorite “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure,” is right around the corner and the man behind the grey suit and red bowtie is going on a new adventure to celebrate.

Paul Reubens' national tour will stop at the Tampa Theatre for an anniversary screening of the 1985 hit at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 13. According to a press release, Reubens will share stories about the making of the film. However, there’s no word on if he’ll dance to “Tequila.”

Tickets start at $34.50 and go on sale Friday, Dec. 13.
