Photo review: Zen Glass Festival of Light 2009

Zen Glass Studio in St. Petersburg held its annual Festival of Light holiday gala this past Friday, December 11, with performances by spoken word artists Pedro Jarquin and Michelle Brule and live music from Jun Bustamante and Nathalia Roustabout. There was live glass-blowing by Zen Glass artists, homemade refreshments and a raffle to benefit Claire Poll (mother of Zen Glass co-founder Josh Poll), who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Zen Glass is located at 900A Dr. Martin Luther King  St. S in St. Petersburg and offers workshops, studio rental and flameworking supplies, as well as signature and custom-made pieces.
