Soon enough Tampa Bay will can get face-to-face with one of the highest-paid podcasting voices in the world. Veteran stand-up comedian Joe Rogan embarks on his upcoming Sacred Clown Tour later this year, and it makes a stop at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Aug. 14.
Whether you love him, hate him, or put the “The Joe Rogan Experience” on as background noise, there’s no denying the fame of Rogan and how much people love the guy. He makes around $30 million a year alone from podcasting alone.
Some material for Rogan’s new North American tour might be recognized from his sixth, hour-long comedy special on Netflix, "Joe Rogan: Strange Times," which aired in 2018. His famed commentary on UFC fighting, controversial opinions on transgender issues, or his endlessly debated endorsement of Bernie Sanders also might find their way onto the Sacred Clown setlist.
Tickets for the Rogan’s summer Tampa gig start at $35.75. They go on sale this Fri., Feb. 28. at 10 a.m., and can be purchased on ticketmaster.com.
