If you’ve been to the wildly-popular Indie Flea markets, then you’ve probably enjoyed the work of The ‘Burg’s resident community letterpress, Print. St. Pete. Next week, the shop invites all zinemakers, printmakers and other creatives to its Gulfport studio for a night of sharing, collaborating and socializing.

According to Print St. Pete, its “Collate” meet-up features talks of “process, techniques, exhibitions, productions and more.” In addition to slinging its art, postcards, calendars and other letterpress prints at vendor markets across Tampa Bay, Print St. Pete also hosts community classes, collaging events and risograph workshops at its studio.

Bridget Elmer and Kaitlin Crocket founded Print St. Pete back in 2016 as a way to share their letterpress resources and materials with other print and zine-lovers of St. Pete and beyond.

It’s free to attend Print St. Pete “Collate” zine meetup in Gulfport on Thursday, Aug. 17, but an RSVP is required. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
