Well, this was one helluva Runway episode. We knew from the previews that a designer was willingly walking off the show and someone was coming back…but who??? Well, I made my predictions and, hey there, oh look at that, I was right (insert arrogant look here). But seriously guys, this was pretty crazy. I won't tell you who is a big quitter and I won't even tell you who came back to the competition, unless you follow me after the jump, where we are skipping the podcast due to the holiday weekend/I want to take a nap.
There actually was a challenge this week, even with all the drama, and that challenge was to create a red carpet look for a "celebrity." That celebrity was Heidi Klum. I am getting the feeling that Heidi is simply using this show to get a better wardrobe on the cheap. It seems logical and I kind of think she is a genius for that. Anyhow, yeah, boring celebrity guest but the pressure of designing for Mrs. Seal mixed with the loss of a model and a designer, the return of an auf'ed designer and the severe lack of sleep they are all suffering from, made for a pretty darned good hour of television.
