Planet Retro Records is giving you an excuse to day drink for a good cause. The shop, along with the local Lady Business collective, is collecting feminine hygiene products and donating them in an effort to help our homeless and low-income neighbors gain a greater sense of dignity and self-esteem (keep the tampons though, because they’re only collecting pads.) Organizers are even slinging drinks in exchange for donations. Local rock bands Gino and the Goons, Rutterkin, and Proud Miranda (pictured) will be on deck providing tunes for the event. Bring your kids and the pup, because the event family and pet-friendly.
