- Nicole and Alana Feld, sisters and co-producers
The show is being produced by the third generation of the Feld family, and for the first time it is being co-produced by two sisters, Nicole and Alana Feld. Feld Entertainment Inc. of Vienna, Va., is the largest producer of live family entertainment in the world. Other shows include Disney on Ice. According to Nicole, this year's "Fully Charged" theme relates to every family who is plugged in to their worlds through cell phones, the Internet and other devices. This electrifying edition is meant to help families come together, unplug from the world and "plug into the Greatest Show on Earth."

Marsha Milgrom Dodge, Director
"It's really a 43-Ring Circus," according to the show's director Marsha Milgrom Dodge, as she points out the several rehearsal areas and talks about the 109 performers that will bring the show to life. The cast is made up of members from around the world. Rehearsals include a Russian, Portuguese, and Chinese translator so that everyone understands instructions. According to Dodge, the show is currently in rehearsal five days straight with one day off in between. Dodge, who began her career as a dancer, is an award-winning choreographer, having won an Emmy Award for an episode of Sesame Street.

Dawna Oak has been in the entertainment business for 25 years. She says that there are over 1,000 costume pieces in the show. She also believes it is an honor to be working with with such a historical production. Her greatest challenge is to balance the costumes between traditional -- with sequins and lots of shine -- and more modern fabrics which are more functional.
