Mall shopping and excessive holiday parties starting to wear on you? Recharge your batteries by creating something this Saturday. In an effort to connect the Tampa Bay community with its creative side, Community Stepping Stones wants people to take at least part of the day to make something: Christmas cookies, Facebook photo collages, paintings, or anything they want. When you finish, post your results with the tag #CSSCreateDayTB.
“Your day of complete creativity might include painting, drawing, designing, building, coloring, carving, sculpting, molding, decorating, tagging, printing or anything else. Create something that speaks to you, post it and tag it,” said Nestor Ortiz, Community Stepping Stones' executive director. “We want #CSSCreateDayTB to infuse Tampa Bay communities and cultures with the power of creativity and illustrate the powerful impact being creative can have on the human spirit.”
Throughout the day, Community Stepping Stones will award prizes to various creations posted with the #CSSCreateDayTB tag.
