Because Hurricane Elsa canceled the original date, St. Petersburg is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the reopening of St. Pete Pier with this rescheduled performance from 300 LED-equipped drones that’ll fly in formation 500 feet above the crowd. If you’re among the first 2,000 to arrive at the Spa Beach Park viewing area, you’ll get a light up wristband that plays along with the show, which starts at 9 p.m. Bring your own mushrooms, tho.

Saturday, July 31, 5 p.m. Spa Beach Park. 508-660 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg. Free to attend. stpetepier.org
