Sketch Night Tampa stays busy trying to give local artists places to work with like-minded creatives, and on April 18 the group will link up with Tampa Heights gallery MergeCulture to stage a “Show Off!” event where 15 artists will live sketch before the audience bids on the pieces.

Nonprofit Tampa bike shop Well Built Bikes will retain 10 percent of the proceeds from the art, while 90 percent will go to the artist. Pieces will range from black and white ink drawings to watercolor paintings, according to a release, which added that the event will also feature a beer tasting by Collective Arts Brewing.

Featured artists include Ashley Cantero, Jujmo, Mega Supremo, Justin Wagher, Scumrag, The Peach Moon (who sketched a David Byrne bicycle map for CL last year), Veronica Steiner and more.

Tampa DJ duo Crate Brothers will provide the soundtrack, and the event runs from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Armature Works in Tampa. More details are available via sketchnighttampa.com.
