You didn’t think the helpful folks at St. Pete Bike Co-op were gonna let the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month close out without one last shindig, did you? The nonprofit exists, after all, not only to promote biking, but also to help folks get the equipment they need, and keep it in great condition in order to get the most out of it. And they’ve teamed up with Green Bench Brewing and a slew of sponsors for an Inaugural Swap Meet. Folks are encouraged to bring all the bikes and bike-related gear they no longer need or use (or just want to go to good use elsewhere) to this celebratory haggle-fest at GB, which will include the usual brew and food truck action, as well as raffles, prizes, and post-meet screening of the ‘85 Kevin Costner cycling movie American Flyers at 8:30 p.m. or as soon as the sun goes down.
