St. Pete’s freeFall Theatre has set the stage for its new season.

Tickets are available now for a season filled with premieres, hidden gems and a holiday classic. freeFall also announced the return of Tandem Series of cabarets, concerts and special events.

Single tickets start at $45. Guests can also take advantage of freeFall’s new monthly subscription: $29 for admission to all ticketed events during that month, including mainstage performances, Tandem Series cabarets, community events and limited engagements.

The season draws the curtains on opening night, Friday, Aug. 11 with Rose Weaver's musical revue, “At Home With Ethel Waters,” which runs through Sept. 10. The National Museum of African American History and Culture says Waters is the first African American to star in her own television show and to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.

Oct. 6-Nov. 5, freeFall theatre—located at 6099 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg—holds the world premiere of “Nightsweat” by Best of the Bay-winning Natalie Symons.

freeFall’s holiday musical “Miracle on 34th Street” is adapted from the 1947 Lux Radio broadcast by Lance Smith, featuring original songs from Jon Lorenz; it runs Nov. 24-Dec 24.

Other season shows include “God Bless You Mr. Rosewater” (Feb. 9-Mar. 10) featuring music by the Oscar- and Tony- winning duo Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, and Jocelyn Bioh’s romantic comedy Nollywood Dreams (April 12-May 12).
