A high-contrast, moody film still featuring a man with a grit-covered face and damp skin. The lighting is low and atmospheric, casting deep shadows across his chest and the mechanical fixtures behind him, creating a sense of tension and exhaustion.

For nearly 12 years now, Second Screen Cult Cinema has brought lovers of out-of-the-box movies together, and it kicks off a new season with a screening of the dystopian 1982 sci-fi classic “Blade Runner” at the series’ new permanent home, Green Light Cinema.

This presentation is a rare chance to see the 2007 “real” director’s cut, where Ridley Scott goes even deeper on Rick Deckard memories, challenging viewers to think about whether or not the ex-cop is human or replicant.

Tickets for Second Screen Cult Cinema’s Thursday, Jan. 15 screening of “Blade Runner” are still available and start at $10.
