Tampa Bay Lightning announce new watch parties at TradeWinds Resort on St. Petersburg Beach

And a few in Tampa, Clearwater and Lakewood, too.

Scoring tickets to Tampa Bay Lightning home matches is a game in itself (the team is on its umpteenth home sellout or something), but making it to any of the club's away games is pretty much a non-option for anyone.

Plus, who wants to go to Montreal in November anyway?

Being the fan-friendly team that they are, however, the Tampa Bay Lightning have lined up all the away game watch parties that its hockey sweater and flip-flop-wearing fanbase desires.

Quite a few of the shindigs are happening in hockey paradise (aka the TradeWinds Islands Resort on St. Pete Beach) and the rest are scattered around Tampa (American Social on Harbour Island on November 15), Clearwater (Big Storm Brewing on March 20) and Lakewood Ranch (April 6).

These low-kew affairs always involve music, food and drink specials, and the chance to win multiple Tampa Bay Lightning prizes including autographs, jerseys and more.

The Lightning faces the Nashville Predators tonight at Amalie Arena in Tampa. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.
