
Four independent theaters on both sides of the Bay have joined forces to pay tribute to Rob Reiner.
The beloved filmmaker and his wife, Michele, were killed in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14. The couple’s son, Nick Reiner, is charged with their murders.
Green Light Cinema, The Beach Theatre, Tampa Theatre and Sun-Ray Cinema screen Reiner’s classic films this month, including several opportunities to weep through “The Princess Bride.”
The viewing schedule:

- “This Is Spinal Tap” and “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues” Sunday, Jan. 18. 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. $9-$14 (ticketed separately). Tampa Theatre, 711 N Franklin St., Tampa.
- “The Princess Bride” Tuesday, Jan. 20. 7 p.m. $9-$14. Tampa Theatre, 711 N Franklin St., Tampa.
