Tampa Bay's 33rd annual India Fest happens this weekend

All proceeds from India Festival will go directly back into the community, benefitting youth education and promoting Indian heritage locally.

Don’t fret about the end of Diwali.

Florida’s largest India festival is back for its 33rd year, complete with Bollywood dancers, live entertainment and local speakers to celebrate the community’s Indian culture, arts and dance.

Visit Tampa Bay and the nonprofit Gujarati Samaj of Tampa Bay will kick off India Fest 2022 Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds, located at 4800 U.S. Hwy- 301, Tampa. Admission is $12.

India Festival is a cultural celebration that invites all ages to showcase talents and participate in dance competitions. This year’s event will also feature live talks from local leaders like Keval Brahmbhatt, president of the Gujarati Samaj of Tampa Bay; Dr. Sanjay Navadia, IndiaFest Chair; Visit Tampa Bay organizers and more local dignitaries.
