Miami drag queen Yoko Oso is un-retiring for an autobiographical Tampa Fringe Festival show.

Oso gave a farewell performance last year—shortly after being named Best Drag Artist by Miami New Times—to focus on their band Ursa Arcana.

Oso revives their drag persona for the sci-fi inspired cabaret “Queen Interrupted: The Rise and Fall of a Drag Pariah,” written by them and burlesque artist and poet L.Michele.

With music from Kate Bush, Anohni, and the musical “Sunset Blvd,” the “Queen Interrupted” shows how Oso fought against hate to be themself and the price they paid to go from club kid to glamorous drag queen.

“This is the most confessional piece I have ever performed and I feel like now it’s ready for the world,” they said in a release.

Tickets are $15 for “Queen Interrupted: The Rise and Fall of a Drag Pariah,” happening June 13-15 and June 21-22 at Tampa Fringe Festival.
