Florida Christmas: The Musical Credit: musiccreativitylab.com
For Florida kids who have never seen snow, and adults who have embraced the swings of climate change, Tampa Fringe Festival has a show for that.

In “Florida Christmas: The Musical,” an alligator named Alonzo dreams of having a white Christmas. When his wish accidentally turns Florida into a frozen wonderland, he’ll need help from his feathered, furry and fishy friends to save the state.

The upbeat, laugh-out-loud musical written by local artist Dr. Alena Holmes has a rich cast of wildlife performing a mix of reggae, opera and disco in to impart the power of environmental awareness and unity.

Tickets are $15 for “Florida Christmas: The Musical,” happening June 19-22 at Tampa Fringe Festival.
