Tampa Mayor Buckhorn's ALS ice bucket challenge — do over?

The city of Tampa has given us a nice double PR punch this morning by promoting Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn taking part in a mad-viral charity stunt and promoting Tampa's new splash pad at the Water Works Park at Tampa Heights' waterfront.

He seems to get off easy with the water mostly falling behind him (with shouts of "do over" in the background) until the third try, but even then he doesn't necessarily get doused.

Is a do over in order?

Donations from the ice bucket challenge topped $32 million overnight, according to the most recent tabulations from The ALS Association.

The ALS Association Florida Chapter spokesperson, Alissa Gutierrez, said the Florida Chapter has received $50,000, compared to $21,000 during the same time period last year (July 29 to Aug. 19).
