WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION

For the spookiest month of the year, Tampa Theatre is showing Halloween-themed movies as part of its "Nightmare on Franklin" series. This weekend, the Disney classic "Hocus Pocus" is on the big screen. Watch as Sarah Sanderson, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, summons children to their doom alongside her witchy sisters all while a prepubescent teen, his meddling younger sister and a talking cat try to save the town. The concession stand will be loaded up with popcorn, soda and brews for your movie viewing pleasure (sorry, no extra pairs of underwear).

Problem is that the show just sold-out, so you'll need to work some magic to get in.

The good news is that upcoming showings include "Little Monsters," "Us," "Zodiac" and "Psycho." Get ready for a good scare.

Sat. Oct. 19, 1:30 p.m. Sold out. Tampa Theatre, 711 N. Franklin St., Tampa. tampatheatre.org
