Smooth on skates and need to get out a little frustration? The Revolution Roller Derby league is recruiting for its upcoming 2020 season.

Revolution Roller Derby is the only co-ed, flat-track roller derby league in Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando County.

On January 13 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. the all-gender Revolution Roller Derby league is hosting their annual recruitment night at the SpinNations Skating Center, located at 8345 Congress St. in Port Richey. By the way, those looking to jam, block or pivot must be 16+ to apply. Haven’t laced up the skates in a while, or wouldn’t consider yourself a seasoned skater? Don’t sweat it, no skating experience necessary.

However, if taking off someone else’s kneecaps isn’t your thing, this roller derby league is also looking for volunteers and non-skating officials.

Once tapped to be on the team, practice is held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. For tickets to the 2020 season, or for more information on what it takes to join a league of rolling badasses, visit revolutionrollerderby.com.
