True story: Denis Phillips once came into Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s Ybor City office to pick up his 2019 Best of the Bay award, and I flipped after playing it cool during his visit.

That’s why I’ll probably be in Dunedin this summer when Toronto’s Class A-Advanced affiliate, the Dunedin Blue Jays, celebrates a “Hurricane Prep Night” on June 20 by giving away bobbleheads of the Tampa Bay weather icon.

Details on the game against the Clearwater Threshers appear to be pending, but save the date. Wish we still had some Rule # 7 Crooked Thumb brew to sip on.
