Grove Theater, Bistro, & Entertainment, formerly known as Cobb Theater, officially opens Friday, Feb. 19, showing off millions of dollars in new renovations. It’s one of the anchor retailers at Grove at Wesley Chapel.

There will be 12 screens with a few offering in-movie dining, a Side Splitters Comedy Club, arcade games, sushi bar, sit-down bistro, and more. Moviegoers can reserve seats through an online booking system with checkerboard seating to ensure social distancing.

In a previous story, the theater was said to have a few more pandemic safety precautions like fogging machines and automated thermal temperature scan swing gates at the entrance.

Tickets must be reserved at grovetheater.com, and the grand opening weekend event begins Friday at 4 p.m.

Grove Theater, Bistro & Entertainment sits at 6333 Wesley Chapel Blvd. just off I-75 in Pasco County. Hours of operation are Friday-Sunday 4 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
