Before "The Batman" hits theaters, fans will get a glimpse of the film's iconic car and costumes at a pop-up experience coming to Tampa Bay.
For one day only, on Saturday, Feb. 19, fans will be able to snap photos with the latest version of the Batmobile, as well get an up-close look at the costumes for Batman, Catwoman, The Riddler and The Penguin.
As part of a four-city tour, the free experience will take place from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Armature Works located at 1910 N Ola Ave. in Tampa.
“We wanted the Batsuit and the Batmobile to look obviously like it was designed by one man, by Batman himself,” said Producer Dylan Clark. “The suit is tactical, it’s military, it’s purpose-driven, it’s practical. It’s also iconic; Batman has his own emblem, his cowl, his cape. We chose a design that Bruce Wayne, at 30 years old, would have built.”
Hitting theaters on March 4, the film, directed by Matt Reeves, features Robert Pattinson as the new Batman in the dual role of Gotham City’s vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne.
