The Rum Diary in a glass: Three film-inspired cocktails

Channel your inner Johnny Depp and enjoy a taste of the tropics in a glass with one of these spirited sips.

Paul Kemp Concoction
1 ½ oz Flor de Caña 4 Year Rum
1 oz guava juice
1 oz orange juice
½ oz lemon juice
1/3 oz simple sugar
1 orange slice
1 cherry with stem

Fill 3/4 of a cocktail shaker with ice and add Flor de Caña rum, guava juice, orange juice, lemon juice and simple sugar.
Shake well for 20-30 seconds, serve in a Tom Collins glass with ice and decorate with orange slice and cherry.

Sanderson Swagger
1 1/2 oz Flor de Caña 7 Year Rum
1 Tbs superfine Sugar
Lime Wedges
4 sprigs of fresh Mint
Club Soda

Muddle mint leaves, superfine sugar and lime in a mixing glass.
Add Flor de Caña and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake.
Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with Club Soda and garnish with a sprig of mint.

2 oz Flor de Caña 7 Year Rum
4 oz Coca Cola

Shake & strain over ice into a tall rocks glass.
