The Tampa City Athletic Association has a legit website, so it must be real right? Whether you believe that or not, TCAA is definitely really serious about vibrators. Specifically, vibrators used in a new kind of derby day where pre-purchased dildos—decked out and decorated at home—will race on a track against each other as part of a day that features “all the trappings of a day at the track, mint juleps, big hats, and all pageantry of a triple crown race.”

Pre-purchasing a vibrator covers entrance for the Saturday races—and a portion of proceeds go to the Spring of Tampa Bay—but contestants are also allowed to bring their own dildo, powered by two AA batteries. No wheels allowed. Visit TCAA to get in on the action. “We’re gonna go vibrator on vibrator all day long until there’s a champion,” referee Steve Miller said in a promo video.

Turn up.

Saturday, May 1. 8 p.m. $20 (includes vibrator). Hooch and Hive, 1001 W Cass St, Tampa. tampacityaa.com
