[THURS 09] Support Planned Parenthood at the Planned Parenthood Dinner and Silent Auction in Sarasota. Dinner, drinks and a silent auction with like-minded people. $200; $75 for those under 30. Hyatt Regency Sarasota, 1000 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota. 6-9 p.m.

[SAT 11] If you’ve ever entertained thoughts of holding office, head to the Ruth’s List “You Should Run” Workshop. Ruth’s List educates and supports pro-choice women who run for office. This meeting’s guest speaker is State House Rep Janet Cruz. 10 a.m. Location TBD. $25.

[SUN 12] Resistance fatigue setting in? Mark Anthony Johnson, Director of Health and Wellness at Dignity and Power Now in Los Angeles, will lead a virtual workshop in strategies and actions to build personal and collective resilience for the resistance. 8-11 p.m. RSVP suggested.

[TUES 14] Rally in Tally: Tell Florida legislators that our ocean, waves, and beaches matter. Join the Surfrider Foundation in Tallahassee to educate lawmakers on single-use plastics, water quality monitoring and other topics of salty significance. Florida State Capitol Building, Tallahassee. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

[WED 15] It’s Ides of Trump. Mail the White House a postcard expressing opposition to 45. Part of a larger initiative; the goal is every postcard with a March 15 postmark. 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Washington, DC, 20500.
