Do This: UniverSoul Circus

The show celebrates 20 years with music, theater, comedy and circus acts for all ages.

If you're looking for an event that is worth the money and something you leave saying, "Whoa, that was awwwesome," the UniverSoul Circus is the show.

Take America's Got Talent, mix it with a tripped-out version of gymnastics and add some X-Game-type motorcycle stunts and you get the UniverSoul Circus. This alternative form of the Cirque du Soleil takes over Raymond James Stadium parking lot through Feb. 10 with a 7:30 p.m. show on Thursday, a couple shows on Friday, three separate start times on Saturday and Sunday, and a finale on Monday morning.

Started as an experiment with just a single stop in 1994, CEO and Founder Cedric Walker's show for all ages celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The showcase of music, theater, comedy and circus acts features a high wire act from Colombia, extreme motorcycle riders circling each other in the Globe of Death, stilt walkers from Trinidad and Tobago and a plethora of clowns from several countries.

And for animal lovers, there are the Olate Dogs from Chile and the famous Barreda Elephants from Peru.

Tickets prices range from $16 to $35. Children under 1 are admitted free. Tickets available through TICKETMASTER at ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000. For discounts for groups of 20 or more, call 800-316-7439. To learn more about UniverSoul Circus, visit UniverSoulcircus.com.
