Having a place where you can embrace your art-loving side and show your work sounds great. The Westchase Artists Society is just that place, and showing your work is what they do. Established in 2006, the society consists of visual artists from the area who get to exhibit their work. On Aug. 6, they’ll celebrate their 10th anniversary with The 10 Years Anniversary Show. The exhibit will showcase 16 artists’ work on multiple mediums, including oil, acrylic, sculpture and photography. They will hold a reception from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m.; The artists will speak about their work and answer questions. The exhibit runs through Sept. 30.
