It’s pretty easy to take advantage of the fact that you’ve got shoes on your feet, but Zion’s Den organizers want to do something for those who can’t afford kicks. This weekend at 7th+Grove, the first annual Charity Sneaker Ball (organized in part by Jarvis Glenn, pictured, and DJ Ekin) collects shoes and donations to assist local families by providing safe, and comfortable footwear. You must wear formal attire and sneakers to get in and rub elbows with philanthropists at one of Ybor’s best new night hangouts.
