A Tampa Bay nightlife favorite since 1979, the Dallas Bull is the spot for boot-scootin, shooting pool, admiring tight asses crammed into even tighter jeans and, yes, mechanical bull riding. Last year, the club reopened in its current 34,000-square-feet digs on U.S. 301, near the Florida State Fairgrounds. The gleaming two-story roadhouse has everything a country gal or good ol boy or, well just about anyone with an open-mind to twangy music could ask for in a nightlife establishment: football-field-size hardwood dance floor, huge stage for house cover bands and national acts, and friendly, fast servers operating the five bars that line both floors. Oh, yeah, Dallas Bull also has a package liquor store for anyone in need of a six-pack to go.
