BEST OVERPRICED BBQ THAT’S WORTH THE MONEY: American Sunday Plate at Tropicana Field

Innocuous name, but this tiny counter tucked into the outfield food court area is owned by an Atwater! Chef Elzo Atwater Jr. dishes out his famous Southern sides and smoked meat that manage to be worth even inflated stadium prices, especially an $11 bucket of ribs that rivals the best in town. There’s enough in that bucket to stuff a beer-soaked fan or feed a small family, especially if you throw in some creamy mac ’n’ cheese and stewed greens. Beats watching the game, in any case.
