BEST OPEN-AIR MARKET: City Produce

It’s neither big nor fancy, and its selection of produce is not entirely local, but this independently owned market is open seven days a week and carries goods above and beyond its fresh fruits and veggies, which are priced well below what you find in a supermarket. A wall of coolers features dairy products and other refrigerated necessities, and several shelves worth of non-refrigerated necessities include cereal, pasta and olive oil. The place also boasts a small deli with cheeses, olives and other Greek food items, as well as banana bread, carrot cake and other goods from a Clearwater bakery.
