Back in February, when the public access show The Bleepin Truth decided to tackle the issue of waterboarding (and way before big-name journalists like Vanity Fairs Christopher Hitchens decided to try it), we sent one of our own to experience the infamous torture technique. And what better place to try out this controversial War-on-Terror tactic than busy Dale Mabry Highway in front of the Mons Venus strip club? As throngs of strippers looked on, our reporter was led to a bench, a rag stuffed in his mouth and a towel placed over his head. Then a former Marine poured a bucket of water over him, shooting the liquid up his nasal cavity and into his throat. Amount of time he lasted? Ten seconds. The looks on commuters faces witnessing the simulated drowning? Priceless.
