Best way to honor John Hughes: REWIND at TAMPA THEATRE

Best way to honor John Hughes

I remember seeing The Breakfast ClubBack to the Future and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off in theaters way back in the 1980s. You know, back when the “luxury” theater had Dolby Digital and two screens, you paid two bucks for popcorn and when the movie ended, you called your mom from a payphone so she could pick you up in her K-car. If you want to see either of those flicks today, there’s only one way you should do it — at Tampa Theatre’s Rewind series. K-car and payphone not included. tampatheatre.org—Cathy Salustri
