CL's regular UPS guy is the best. Why? He’s always got a fist-bump for everyone, and his enthusiasm wins over even those for whom fist-bumps are awkward/uncomfortable. His energy is contagious, his enthusiasm sweeping you up like a riptide. Plus, he’s gotta bring our shit up all those stairs — and isn’t afraid to call ahead and tell us he might need a little help bringing our shit up all those stairs. Wood wizard Jon Stine is known for crafting beautiful longboards, beer taps and very-high-end custom furniture, but countertops — who knew? When my boyfriend and I went searching for wood countertops that didn’t look like 1985-married ScanDesign, we ran into Stine working in the back room of Anderson Lumber and learned, shockingly, that we could afford him.
