Best Sandwich That Gives the Cuban a Run For Its Money
Meaghan Habuda

The grouper sandwich should be to Tampa what the muffuletta is to New Orleans (sorry, Cubano lovers), and Big Ray’s should be the torch bearer. Unlike some other places that’re putting the beloved sando to shame, the South Tampa fish camp’s blackened version — which CL recognized back in June’s sandwich-driven Food Issue — tastes super fresh, with four complementary dressings: lettuce, tomato, onion and tartar sauce. This roadside destination is a must visit for locals and tourists alike regardless. —Chris Fasick
