This Tampa Palms mainstay lets you hot pot it up (until you can’t no more) using a variety of choose-your-own ingredients — everything from dumplings and seafood to veggies and udon noodle — destined for a warm, simmering pot of house-made broth. Patrons drop and boil and flip and dunk, aka cook and eat together, as is the Chinese hot pot tradition, on easy-to-use burners built into their table. This do-it-yourself formula creates an exciting communal dining experience for lunch or dinner when combined under one roof. There’s no sneeze-guarded assembly of buffet tables at this all-you-can-eat find, either (a nice change, dontcha think?) — just an open setting fit for interaction. Oh, and for those who want to work off a meal, there are multiple rooms designed for getting your karaoke on. —Meaghan Habuda
