Best local curator: KATHERINE PILL

Best local curator

If you’ve seen a show that’s made you think at the Museum of Fine Arts, there’s no doubt Katherine Pill, the museum’s curator of contemporary art, had a hand in it — think Magnetic Fields, Expanding American Abstraction, 1960 to Today and Marks Made: Prints by American Women Artists from the 1960s to the Present. She also served as a juror for this year’s emerging artists at the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts. She came to the MFA with an impressive resume and has been making her mark — and upping the game for the local arts scene — ever since. —Cathy Salustri
