Best keep Tampa Heights weird: GRAM’S PLACE

This construction boom is a turning point for Tampa Heights. New folks are moving in and asking longtime residents if the place is a “good neighborhood.” It’s about as good as any up-and-coming neighborhood near the urban core, sir, and it’s pretty weird sometimes, too. Gram’s Place — a 27-year-old hostel and bed & breakfast — is a good example of that thanks to its oddball charm and reputation for being a good neighbor to the homes around it. An oasis in an ever-changing part of town, we hope it stands as a symbol of why we wanted to live in this neighborhood in the first place. 3109 N.
