Friends Of Strays’ Doggy Days Out
Now this is a million-dollar idea. St. Petersburg’s Friends of Strays unlocked a genius concept by allowing locals to take adoptable pets out for the day, be to rack up some good karma or give the pup a test drive before giving them a forever home. Although waived adoption fees can be helpful to clear the shelters, getting dogs out from behind cages keeps animals in good spirits and raises awareness about the number of strays needing a home.
